2026 – 2027 Housing Application
Housing applications for 2026-2027 open on October 6, 2025 for incoming freshmen, transfer students, and returning students (residents currently residing on campus).
Room selection begins February 9, 2026 for returning students and March 9, 2026 for freshmen and transfer students. To receive a preferred room, students are encouraged to submit their housing application as soon as possible. Once a room has been selected, it can be confirmed on the housing application website.
Room Selection Calendar
- February 9 – 13: Current residents can renew their same room.
- February 13: Current residents who wish to change rooms will receive their time slot to select a new room.
- February 16 – 20: Room selection for apartments for current residents.
- February 23 – 27: Room selection for residence hall for current residents.
- March 2 – 6: Open Room selection for current residents.
- Week of March 2: Incoming freshmen/transfer students receive their timeslot to select room.
- March 9: Room selection for incoming freshmen/transfer students (current students will still be able to select if they have not by this time).
- Generate room selection time slots 3x a week.
- No room selection from March 23 – 27 (spring break week).
For Spring 2026 only, students do not select their own room. Rooms will be assigned based on preferences and availability.
- Spring 2026 only application opens October 6, 2025, at 10 a.m.
- Preferred deadline: December 1, 2025
Those who apply after December 15 will not know their assignment until January 10. If the application is submitted prior to December 15, the room assignment for spring 2026 will be known before the campus closes for winter break on December 22.

This online software system is your one-stop site to apply for housing, sign up for an appointment to check in or out of your residence hall, sign up for meal plans, request room changes, and more!
To log in, you will need your @reddies.hsu.edu email address and the password you use to log in to your email, MyHenderson, and other university sites. (Incoming students, you should have received this information when you were admitted.)

Students who need special accommodations due to a disability should contact the Disability Resource Center as early in the process as possible. The Office of Housing and Community Standards will only make special room assignments after receiving documentation from the staff at the Disability Resource Center!
