Arkansas Undergraduate Research Conference General Information

Oral Presentations
Oral presentations will be limited to 12 minutes, with a three minute period following each presentation for questions. We will strictly adhere to the posted schedule for oral presentations. Please bring presentations on a USB drive and/or email to an account which can be accessed during the meeting to download the presentation. You will not be able to present from your own device — only the computer and multimedia equipment provided may be used. If you desire to use a laser pointer or clicker, please bring these items with you, as they will not be supplied at the meeting.

Poster Presentations
If you are presenting a poster, please have it set up prior to the start of the poster session, which begins at 11:15 a.m. (see program for details). Posters will be displayed in the Garrison Center Banquet Room, L-206. Poster size dimensions are 36 (tall) x 55 inches (wide) (ca. 91 x 140 centimeters) or smaller.

Check-In / Lunch
Check-in for the conference will be in the Garrison Center. Signage will be posted for direction to the check-in location. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the session, in which you will present, to ensure that all presentations are uploaded and accessible prior to the start of the session.

A buffet-style luncheon will be available at the Malachi Smith Dining Hall on the HSU campus, for those interested. The cost for the luncheon is $20.00 per person.
