Henderson earns an A+ for teacher preparation program

Henderson is among only 79 programs in the nation to earn this distinction as an “exemplar” in the new report. It met 100% of the instructional goals across each of the elementary mathematics topic areas.

Grant will help tell chocolate's historical role

Henderson chemistry professor Dr. Suzanne Neidhart applied for a Forrest E. Mars. Jr. Chocolate History grant, and learned recently that she will receive $5,500 for the project.

Henderson to host art workshop for teens this summer

The workshop is a week-long, hands-on experience for students ages 13-18. Participants engage in a variety of studio art activities, including collage, assemblage, fiber arts, and mixed media.

Awards banquet to honor eight Henderson alumni

Distinguished Alumni awards will be presented to Brown Hardman, the late Maurice R. Horton Sr., and Anita Cabe and the late Charles Cabe. Lloyd Jackson and Chris and Debra Wewers will receive the “H” Award, and the Young Alumni Award will be presented to Beau Baker.

Dawn Coffman crowned Miss HSU 2022

Haven Hughes, a senior from Little Rock, was first runner-up; Teddi-Anne Hulke, a senior from Cabot, was second runner-up. Hulke also won the People’s Choice Award. Blaise Batson of Arkadelphia was crowned Miss HSU Outstanding Teen 2022.
