Henderson student ensembles and community groups will present festive music and dance for the holiday season beginning at 6 p.m. in Arkansas Hall.
Larry Jefferson, also known as "Santa Larry," has been portraying Santa Claus for 20 years across the U.S. He graduated from Henderson in 1988 with a degree in sociology. Jefferson is also a retired U.S. Army captain.
The Henderson State University Board of Trustees approved the merger agreement and transition plan to join the Arkansas State University System. The agreement is subject to approval of the ASU Board of Trustees and the Higher Learning Commission, as well as action by the Arkansas General Assembly.
Six performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14, 15, 16, 18, 21 and 22, in the Arkansas Hall Studio Theatre. 'Angel Street' is a murder mystery set in Victorian-era London.
The event will be streamed live for 24 hours from 9 a.m. Nov. 2 to 9 a.m. Nov. 3. It can be viewed online at twitch.tv/hendersontelevision.
Wallace enjoyed a long career at Henderson as a tennis player, teacher, and coach. Living in Arkadelphia, she still attends various events on campus.

The motion specifically requires the continuation of the name Henderson State University, use of the Reddie mascot, and slogan, "The School with a Heart."
Ms. Fleming brings a tremendous amount of higher education experience to this role, and I am pleased to welcome her to the Henderson campus, said Henderson Acting President Elaine Kneebone.
Deranaque Sturghill was first-runner-up, followed by second runner-up Devin Koger. In all, 21 students were nominated for the homecoming court.
NerdCon will be held Oct. 19 in the Dunn Student Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $5.
Gallery shows and senior art exhibitions will be on display this fall. The shows are free and open to the public.
A highlight of homecoming week will be the inaugural Academic Reunion, where alumni can catch up with former and current faculty and fellow alumni. The reunion starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, in the Garrison Center Grand Ballroom.
The 10 finalists will be announced Oct. 17 during the annual homecoming pep rally and bonfire. The court will be introduced and the queen crowned during football pre-game festivities on Oct. 19.
