The Henderson-NYITCOM Pre-Med Pathway will allow Henderson State students majoring in natural sciences (pre-med track) to gain acceptance to medical school at NYITCOM at A-State without taking the MCAT, provided they meet specific academic and program requirements. 

"Earning a graduate degree is very important, especially a specialty degree. This degree tells others that you don't believe in complacency and always have more to learn and grow in your career."

The students were awarded $1,250 for both the first and second semester of their senior year based on academic performance, essays, and a desire to work for CHI St. Vincent after graduation for at least 18 months.
