It is recommended that all Windows and Mac users use the latest version of Firefox or Google Chrome (preferred) internet browsers when accessing course sites on the learning management system (Canvas). We are pleased to announce that, once you activate your HSU Reddie email account, you will have access to Microsoft Office Suite for free.
- Internet Explorer is not recommended
- Chromebook laptops are not allowed
- Minimum Technology Needs:
- Platform: Windows 7/8 or higher; Macintosh OS X 10.5 or higher
- Hardware: Computer with microphone and webcam (call 870-230-5678 or email helpdesk@hsu.edu for hardware recommendations from IT)
- Software: Microsoft Office, software to read PDF files (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader), latest Java version (Windows/Mac), Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor
- Internet: DSL/Cable/High-Speed access
