The Wind Ensemble is comprised of the university's finest wind and percussion musicians, and performs traditional and contemporary wind repertoire of the highest quality. This ensemble performs two on-campus concerts each semester, and has performed off-campus at national and state conferences as well as on public school tours in Arkansas and Texas.
Membership is open to all university students regardless of major, and is by audition only. The Wind Ensemble rehearses twice per week on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm in the fall semester, three times per week on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm and Friday from 2:00 pm - 2:50 pm in the spring semester, and the course may be repeated for credit.
