English, Foreign Languages and Philosophy

English, Foreign Languages, and Philosophy is the largest department on campus and serves the bulk of our students through Liberal Arts Core classes while specializing in the fields of English literature and composition; Spanish, French, and German languages, cultures, and literatures; and Philosophy. 

Our department offers a variety of degree programs. A prospective student may choose to major in either English or Spanish. They may also choose to minor in such offerings as English, Spanish, French, German, Writing Specialization, Philosophy, Women’s and Gender Studies, and Film Studies.

Within our Master of Liberal Arts degree, we offer graduate level courses to further student learning and mastery in English and Philosophy.
