SATURDAY, AUGUST 19

FIRST-YEAR MOVE-IN
Location: Henderson State Campus
Time: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Move-in for the residence halls begins the Saturday before classes start for first-year students. Bring friends and family to help you move your belongings, but we will also have HSU volunteers to help you do that. For more information, contact Residence Life at 870-230-5083.
*Students who participate in band, some athletic teams, and other organizations may have earlier move-in times. Check with your coach or director if you think that applies to you.

Time: 9 AM - 1 PM
Students will receive assistance from representatives within academic advising, admissions, housing, student accounts, financial aid, and more from 9 am - 1 pm.

FAMILY BON VOYAGE
Location: Campus Dining Hall
Time: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM
An opportunity for family & freshman students to have lunch together before wishing them a bon voyage (send off for families). Lunch for our freshman students' families will be covered by HSU.

COOKOUT ON THE QUAD
Location: Garrison Center Quad
Time: 4:45-6:30 PM

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

WORSHIP OF YOUR CHOICE

REDDIE FLOAT TRIP & SNOWCONES
Location: Caddo River Rats / Cajun Snow
Time: 10:00 AM
Enjoy a relaxing float on the Caddo River and delicious snow cones from Cajun Snow!

PLAYFAIR - ULTIMATE ICE BREAKER EVENT
Location: Garrison Center Ballroom
Time: 7:00-9:00 PM
Playfair is a high-energy, ultimate ice-breaker event designed to help new students engage with their fellow peers and form new friendships.

REDDIE HUB

HENDERSON HEART PHOTO
Location: South Lawn
Time: 6:30 PM
Grab your red HSU t-shirt and become a part of the School with a Heart. This is a traditional annual photo you do not want to miss.

PINE TREE ASSEMBLY
Location: Arkansas Hall
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Be inspired and learn how to be the ultimate Reddie at the Pine Tree Speech. This is an annual tradition, educating students over Henderson State's history as well as teaching freshmen the HSU fight song and alma mater.

WATERMELON FEAST & DJ
Location: Garrison Center Quad
Time: 8:30-10:00 PM
Come enjoy some watermelon and stay for some music and fun.

Stop by any of our three stations to get the answers you need. Our Volunteers can help with directions, building codes, academic and administrative services information, class locations and many other issues Reddie Students may encounter in their first two class days. Our Volunteers will be ready to Help a Reddie!

Join us at the Community Organization Fair to learn about how you can get involved off campus! We will have local businesses, faith based organizations and many other opportunities to learn more about Arkadelphia and surrounding areas. Pick up some giveaways, information and free food from local vendors. Come and discover how you can get involved. HYPNO SHOW
Location: Arkansas Hall
Time: 9:00-10:30 PM
Each show is custom designed to those attending the show. The performances are always fast moving, packed with interactive skits, and foot pounding music, tastefully done and enjoyed by all.

Hosted by the Spiritual and Religious Organizations. This cook-out will give you an opportunity to meet members of Chi Alpha, Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Wesley Foundation, Missionary Baptist Students Fellowship and Angelic Voices of Christ. It will also give you an opportunity to know how you can get involved with any of these student organizations.

Grab your friend or your roommate and join us outside the Reddie Bookstore to dance and watch as members of sororities and fraternities stroll through.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 25

KICKBALL TOURNAMENT
Location: Clyde Berry Field (Baseball)
Time: 6:30 PM - Midnight
Join us for another fun event during Welcome Week. Play kickball against faculty/ staff members, or against other Reddie students. This event is hosted by the Campus Recreation Center. STUDENT ORGANIZATION FAIR

Time: 3:00-5:00 PM
This is one of the best opportunities to get involved in campus life at Henderson State. Student Organizations set up displays and have members on site talk to visitors one on one about what their organization does on campus. Involvement in co-curricular experiences is one of the most important parts of having a successful college career! You will make friends, learn all about HSU, and develop invaluable skills you will use in life beyond HSU.
