Arkansas State University System President Dr. Charles L. Welch announced October 18 that three candidates will interview on campus for the position of chancellor at Henderson State University.
Ten finalists will be announced Oct. 14 during the annual homecoming pep rally and bonfire. The court will be introduced and the crowning will take place during football pre-game festivities on Oct. 16 when the Reddies host Harding University.
Smith will work with the Henderson Dance Company and lead three master classes. An informational performance will be presented Oct. 15.
The group of student musicians will perform a program entitled "Landscapes" Sunday, Oct. 3, at 4 p.m. in the Arkansas Hall Auditorium.
Funded by a $586,688 grant from the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council, the project addressed various exterior issues. Henderson State is seeking a management and marketing company to manage the entire operations of the bed and breakfast and event center.
Performances will be Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 2, and 4, with a matinee on Oct. 2. Tickets are on sale now.
