Henderson Theatre to present 'Men on Boats'

The public is invited to the free performance, entitled Winter Dances. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
Arkansas State University System President Dr. Charles L. Welch announced the selection of Dr. Charles Ambrose, a nationally known visionary and innovator in higher education, as the next chancellor of Henderson State University.
Dr. MaryJane Dunn-Whitener says that time spent at Henderson should allow students to look towards their future and focus on their goals. She encourages students to think of that time as a pilgrimage because it is an opportunity for personal growth and transformation.
Students and faculty representing the biology, chemistry, and engineering and physics departments will be on hand to conduct exciting experiments and provide opportunities for fun hands-on experiences.
Three campus/community receptions will be held in Henderson’s Garrison Center, 1045 McKnight Drive: - Dr. Jay Gatrell, Sunday, Oct. 24, at 5:30 p.m. - Dr. Charles Ambrose, Monday, Oct. 25, at 5:30 p.m. - Dr. Alberto Ruiz, Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 5:30 p.m.
Martha Mosqueda was first runner-up. Second runner-up was Kirby Smith.
