Henderson State University is relaunching its chancellor search because of the pending resignation of Interim Chancellor Dr. Jim Borsig due to health reasons.

The board carries out the HSU Alumni Association’s goal to promote the welfare of Henderson State and its alumni, and friends of the university.
Alumni Profile: Phillip Turner, Class of 2014
Phillip Turner served as Student Government Association president while a student at Henderson State, and is now a corporate attorney in Atlanta.
Portrait of Maurice Horton Sr. unveiled at ceremony
Horton was the the first African American to receive a degree from Henderson State. His portrait, painted by Ed Martin, will be displayed in Henderson State's Garrison Center.
Alumni Profile: Annette Scogin, Class of '89
Scogin graduated from Henderson State in 1989 with a degree in physical education and health (kinesiology) and coaching with a minor in history. She also holds a Masters in Educational Leadership K-12. Scogin lives in Montgomery, Alabama.
Alumni Profile: Maria Markham, Class of '02, '03
Dr. Maria Markham, a two-time graduate of Henderson State, is director of the Arkansas Division of Higher Education.
Alumni Profile: Ralph "RJ" and Alexis Taylor
The newlyweds, who met at Henderson, now live in Atlanta, Georgia. Ralph is a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments, and Alexis is a nurse in the emergency department at Emory University Hospital.
