College of Business inducts Bobbie Nichols Tucker into Hall of Fame; Hansburg, Hutzel, Print Mania also honored
College of Business Dean Nathan Campbell presented the Hall of Fame award to Bobbie Nichols Tucker.
Bobbie Nichols Tucker was inducted into the Henderson State University Business Hall of Fame during the annual College of Business awards ceremony April 17.
Tucker is a 1971 graduate of Henderson State where she received a business degree in economics. She was very involved in campus life, joining Alpha Sigma Tau, serving as president of the Alpha Gamma Chapter, participating in Student Senate, and serving as vice president of the senior class.
Her professional career began in 1971 with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. She later worked for Stephens Inc. for 36 years, serving in a variety of roles.
She was named vice president of Stephens Inc. in 2000, and promoted to senior vice president in 2003, before retiring in 2013.
Young Alumni Award
Willie Hansburg, a 2013 Henderson State graduate, was presented the Young Alumni Award. He is the director of E-Commerce at Sam’s Club, and has held various leadership roles in 11 years with Walmart.
Hansburg is currently pursuing his MBA with a concentration in engineering at Henderson State. He has been an active mentor for Henderson students for several years.
Rising Star Award
Sarah Hutzel, senior vice president of commercial lending at Arvest Bank in Hot Springs, received the Rising Star Award. She holds both an MBA and BBA from Henderson State.
Hutzel has more than 18 years of banking experience, and was recognized as one of Arkansas Money & Politics’ Women in Banking in 2024. She serves in several key leadership roles in the Hot Springs community.
Business of the Year
The Business of the Year Award was presented to Print Mania, which was established in Arkadelphia in 1992 by Lonnie and Regina Jackson. Regina currently manages the business, along with both her daughters, Brittany and Kelby.
Print Mania specializes in screen printed apparel and graphic design services. It also offers custom vinyl graphics and marketing consultation services.
Outstanding Student Awards
Six Henderson business students received Outstanding Student awards during the event, including:
- Braden Arnold, a senior business administration major from Bauxite.
- Zach Baker, a senior business administration major, with a minor in entrepreneurship, from Memphis.
- Bayli Fillinger, a junior finance major from San Antonio, Texas.
- Angela Georgieva, a senior business administration major from Johannesburg, South Africa.
- D’Allen Sealy, a junior finance major from Little Rock.
- Gabriel Ronan Vidal Simoes, a senior from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
