Remote instruction will resume on Wednesday, April 15.
Remote instruction is cancelled for Tuesday, April 14. While electricity has been restored to campus, major outages continue in the area that limit delivery of and access to online classes. Staff should work as they are able, and faculty should prepare for the likelihood of resuming remote instruction on Wednesday. The dining hall is open regular hours on Tuesday.
Due to widespread power outages in the Arkadelphia area, including the Henderson campus, classes are cancelled for Monday, April 13.
- Power lines to the main campus are knocked out due to fallen trees.
- The dining hall will open at 10:30 a.m. with a limited menu and to-go boxes.
- Some damage occurred on campus due to heavy winds on Sunday night. The storm broke out a window at Newberry Hall and trees are down at the nursing building and president's house. Crews are working to remove the debris on Monday morning.
