McKee crowned 2019 Homecoming Queen
Kamri McKee, a senior history major from Little Rock, was crowned Henderson State University's 2019 Homecoming Queen during a pregame ceremony Oct. 19. McKee was sponsored by Kappa Kappa Psi, and is an active member of the Showband of Arkansas.
Deranaque Sturghill, a senior human services major from Marion, was first runner-up. Devin Koger, a senior human services major from Prescott, was second runner-up.
Twenty-one students were nominated for the homecoming court, and the student body voted for 10 finalists who were announced during a homecoming pep rally and bonfire.
