Students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at HSU toward any earned Bachelor degree. Each subsequent Bachelor degree will require an additional 30 credits in residency. Thus, a student earning two Bachelor degrees simultaneously will be required to have a total of 60 hours in residence. Only 6 of the last 36 credits earned toward a each Bachelor degree may be transfer credits. Credits earned through HSU programs but at an off-campus location may count toward these requirements. Of the 30 residency credits required for each Bachelor degree, a minimum of 9 must be earned within the major field and 3 within a minor. A minimum of 15 hours in residence are required for an Associate’s degree.
