The Registrar’s Office begins the process of conferring degrees at the end of fall/spring semesters and again once summer sessions have ended. It may take approximately eight weeks for all degrees to be conferred and diplomas mailed to new graduates. Once the semester of intended graduation has ended students have 60 days to submit any transcripts for needed work, have instructors submit grade changes, and turn in any other required materials. After this time the student’s graduation term will be moved to the following academic session. All financial indebtedness to the university must be cleared, and all items borrowed from the university returned (e.g., library books) prior to graduation. For more information about preparing to graduate please review the graduation application policy within this catalog.
