Henderson State University's Counselor Education program offers two degree tracks: Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. Both tracks lead toward professional licensure and provide students with the knowledge, counseling experience and clinical skills to work in a variety of settings, from the local community, schools, prisons and nursing homes to other public and private facilities. The program selects highly qualified and motivated individuals and prepares them to become effective professionals in counseling and related fields.
