Students get glimpse of new apartments

As work continues on Henderson State's new 240-bed apartment complex, the Office of Residence Life offered a sneak peak of what students can expect when the facility is ready for occupancy this fall. Students were excited Tuesday as they toured one of the units. The complex at 10th Street and M.H. Russell Drive will also include a clubhouse and swimming pool. The apartments will be furnished with appliances, a couch, washer and dryer, desk, full-size beds, dressers and a wall-mounted television. Each student will have a private bedroom and bathroom. A 300-bed traditional residence hall is also under construction. For more information, call 870-230-5083.
