Crews inducted into School of Business Hall of Fame

Henderson State University’s School of Business held its annual awards banquet and Hall of Fame induction on April 25. Keith Crews, an owner and general manager of Pioneer Scale Co., Inc., was inducted into the School of Business Hall of Fame.

Crews earned his marketing degree from Henderson in 1984. He is currently an MBA student at Henderson and will graduate this fall.

Crews was a Reddie cheerleader, a member of the Student Government Association, and a member of the sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.

As an alumnus, Crews has been a member of the Reddie Club, a member of the Business Advisory Council, a board member of the Alumni Association, and has served as a judge for the Business Plan Competition.

Headquartered in Benton, Pioneer Scale Co. is a large capacity scale company with additional locations in Texas and Colorado. The company’s initial focus was on large capacity truck and railroad scales. As the company has grown it has diversified into smaller capacity scales, custom truck stop weighing systems, and systems work.
