Talent Search Education Advisor

Position:  Talent Search Education Advisor. Position contingent upon grant funding.

Job Description:  The TS Education Advisor will work with 500 eligible students who have completed five years of elementary education or who are at least 11 years of age but no more than 27 years of age. The TS Education Advisor will be responsible for TS program activities, including delivery of required and permissible services including workshops, providing information on postsecondary admission, enrollment, and helping participants complete college admissions applications and financial aid forms.

In pursuit of this commitment, TS Education Advisor will have a master’s degree or admission to graduate school in counseling, social work, education or related fields or two years of full-time counseling, mentoring and/or teaching experience in programs serving low-income and/or first-generation youth from diverse backgrounds.
