Position:  Director of the Arkansas Southwest-A Education Renewal Zone on the campus of Henderson State University, 12-month, non-classified position, beginning July 2017.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and advocacy skills. He/She will have demonstrated knowledge and skill in building and managing partnerships with diverse populations.

Expectations:  The director is expected to maintain and distribute a directory of campus resources that could be put in the service of schools through technical assistance or research, receive requests for technical assistance from schools and school districts, coordinate responses to requests with appropriate campus resources, serve as a liaison between Henderson State University and the Arkansas Department of Education Division of ERZ, represent and advocate on behalf of the ERZ partnership in appropriate campus and off-campus venues, facilitate the process for developing the Southwest-A ERZ Strategic Plan with HSU, convene quarterly ERZ meetings, maintain records of ERZ meeting proceedings, develop and submit to the ADE Division of ERZ the annual report of ERZ activities. The director may be responsible for oversight of Southwest Arkansas College Preparatory Academy.

Salary:  Salary commensurate with experience.
