Description: The Director of Alumni Engagement is responsible for increasing the participation rate of alumni with their time, talents and treasures. The successful candidate will work to establish affinity groups and plan alumni activities and reunion events that will be key for building both alumni engagement and fundraising opportunities. The successful candidate will be passionate about telling the story of Henderson State in a way that inspires alumni and friends to remain and re-engage. The Director of Alumni Engagement reports to the Associate Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations. Active alumni and friends include approximately 24,000 nationwide.

Other qualifications include strong initiative, creativity and attention to detail; exceptional ability to think strategically and analytically; ability to manage multiple project simultaneously; high professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information; and the ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed. The successful applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving’s record that is acceptable to the university.
