Job Description:  The Director of Enterprise Applications is a position of leadership in the Department of Computer and Communication Services. The Director of Enterprise Applications oversees the development, standardization, deployment, and management of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other enterprise information systems. The individual is responsible for the end-to-end integration of software solutions to support the delivery of services across the college. This includes directing the development and deployment of secured and high availability information systems to mitigate risks, maintain continuity of operations and maximize availability, usability and security of HSU's information assets. This position will also coordinate maintenance and enhancements of the information systems to leverage resources, knowledge and best practice and works close with leadership, serving as expert to support business process change.

In pursuit of this commitment, successful candidates will possess either (1) a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or a related field from an accredited institution and six (6) years of IT and business/industry experience OR (2) a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of IT and business/industry experience. The successful candidates will have 3-5 years of leadership responsibility managing project teams, and influencing senior-level management and stakeholders. Examples of such leadership include, but are not limited to, success in at least one of the following: (1) a –full- enterprise project implementation (including enterprise project migration, conversion, deployment, and implementation) OR (2) the implementation of one of the major ERP –full- suites (e. g. financials, HR, Students) OR (3) the implementation of at least one module of a suite of the ERP (e.g. only lead financials , HR, or Students system) OR (4) the full implementation of a portal OR (5) Project management: has served in an IT department as “IT Project Manager”.

Salary:  Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
