Assistant Professor of Engineering

Position:  Assistant Professor of Engineering, tenure track, beginning August 2017.

Job Description:  The Engineering and Physics Department seeks an energetic individual to continue development of an engineering undergraduate program. Our first graduating class is expected in Spring 2018 and we plan to seek ABET accreditation. The successful candidate will teach core undergraduate engineering courses at all levels, participate in the operation and maintenance of the undergraduate laboratories, and supervise engineering design projects.

Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution. ABD with firm completion date or Masters in Engineering with relevant work experience may also be considered. Experience in ABET accreditation preferred.

Salary:  Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

University:  Henderson is located in Arkadelphia, a charming community of 11,000 situated one hour south of Little Rock on Interstate 30.
