If it wasn’t for the spirit of a special group of students nearly 100 years ago who pledged to rebuild the Henderson campus after it was destroyed by a fire, we wouldn’t be here. Arkansas Department of Higher Education

The agency serves as the administrative staff for the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board. It reviews and approves academic programs; administers statewide financial aid programs; recommends institutional operating, capital, and personal service budgets; and collects and reports on student and course data.
