Assignment of Responsibilities

The Safety Manager will be the primary person responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the HSU Safety Policy.

In the absence of the Safety Manager, the Director of Human Resources will assume the responsibility for enforcing the program.

Additionally, the Safety Manager will be responsible for all documentation and records developed as a result of safety training, meetings, accident investigations and hazard reports required by this plan.

The Office of Human Resources will be responsible for all documentation and records developed as a result of worker’s compensation claims and will store documentation of the accident investigation with the appropriate claim records.
