Makey Makey Day Camp

Makey Makey is perfect for the classroom. Students can invent projects that combine materials of the classroom with the coding projects they're creating on the computer to bring their creations to life. Students can make any conductive material act as the input device for a computer with the Makey Makey. Students with no coding experience can use it and learn to experiment with it as they start to learn coding because it comes preprogrammed. Join us in learning how to allow your students to become hardware engineers and solve real-world design challenges by providing a landscape that fosters curiosity and enthusiastic learners.  Two camps will be offered for separate age groups and to currently licensed and employed Arkansas K-12 teachers. Makey Makey purchase is optional. If an attendee already owns a Makey Makey device, they may bring their own to use during the camp.
