RN to BSN

Earn your BSN in two semesters while you work!

Do you currently work as a registered nurse and want to complete your four-year degree? Henderson State University’s Department of Nursing now provides the opportunity for current registered nurses to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees in one year. You can enter class in the spring or fall semester.

If you hold a current RN license and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 in your earlier nursing courses, Henderson State has the perfect program for you. Our RN to BSN programs will let you continue your current nursing job while you prepare to earn more and climb higher on the career ladder. Plus, you can pursue coursework online, in the classroom in Hot Springs or in both online and in-person classes.

You don’t have to sacrifice family or career to Live Reddie. Our flexible practicum projects empower you to succeed. Henderson State focuses on students, and our new program will allow you the freedom to pursue your dreams.

Our nursing classes are small, with low student-to-instructor ratios that help to facilitate student success. Our students obtain high first-time pass rates on the RN-NCLEX and 100 percent job placement upon graduation.

Our bachelor’s degree programs prepare professional nurses to pursue graduate degrees as well. We also offer the following nursing degree options:

  • RN to BSN (online) available for registered nurses with flexible practicum projects - Degree plan PDF
  • Dual Degree RN to BSN available at National Park College and in Hot Springs - Degree plan PDF
  • RN to BSN program with partial face-to-face coursework in Hot Springs and partial online classes - Degree plan PDF
