History

Why study History? Why does it matter what happened long ago? 

History teaches us lessons about our past, present and future. Students of history learn to read and interpret a variety of materials and to apply them to problem solving. 

Through the study of history, you'll gain the tools to understand yourself and others. You'll have the chance to appreciate your community and be an involved citizen.

Students of history learn how to communicate and work as a team. These are communication skills and how to a variety of other skills that companies need in their employees. History also prepares you for a variety of jobs from lawyer to writer to information security analyst.
