Do I need books for my first class?

While you may not actually use your course texts on the first day of class, you need to purchase your textbooks prior to your first class, so that you are ready to start work as assigned by your instructor on that first day of class. Your instructors expect you to come to class prepared to engage in planned activities immediately and plan their syllabi accordingly. If you are late in acquiring your textbooks, you are putting yourself behind in your classes from the start, which makes it much harder for you to be successful.

What do I do if the bookstore doesn’t have my books?

If the bookstore does not have your required books in stock, let your instructor know immediately via person, email, or phone, so that she or he can contact the bookstore and get the texts in as soon as possible. While this situation is usually rare, it does occur on occasion and prompt communication is necessary for dealing with it effectively.

What do I do if I lose my ID?

How do I return to Henderson State as a student?

To apply for readmission a student may either complete the University online application for readmission, or an application for readmission in the Registrar's Office. If completing the application on the Henderson homepage, it is important to identify as a returning student and indicate any name changes that may have occurred.
