Dean of Students

We provide programs and experiences that help you meet your educational, cultural, recreational, and social needs. We are committed to helping you have the best college experience possible and encouraging your personal growth.

Student Service encompasses many different student-related areas on campus. Henderson's orientation, Heart Start, gives you your first taste of university life and helps you get acquainted with friends and professors. Residence Life assists you with all of your campus housing needs. Do you have questions about your student ID/bank card? Ask us.

The Charles D. Dunn Recreation Center is a great place to hang out, work out and seek out friends. The center offers exercise facilities, classes and a variety of intramural sports. Right in the middle of campus, The Martin B. Garrison Activity and Conference Center is your place to get something to eat, shoot some pool, or use the computer lab. Being involved in Greek Life is a quick way to make friends and be involved in the community. There are also over 90 student organizations to choose from affiliated with your academic area, special interest, faith and other topics.

Maybe you're looking to be involved in a leadership position. You can check out our Student Government Association or the Student Activities Board. Being a Reddie Ambassador or a Student Foundation representative gives you a unique chance to represent the university to incoming students and other community members. Show your Reddie Spirit on the cheerleading squad or as a contestant in the Miss HSU Pageant.

Contact us for more information about any of our areas. Our Student Guide also has some helpful information on the rights and responsibilities of all Henderson students. We look forward to helping you make the most of your time at Henderson.
