The Oracle

The Oracle is Henderson State University's student newspaper, publishing news, sports and entertainment for students and the campus community, in print and online.

The Oracle began in 1908 under student editor Edgar Lyle Dean, making it one of the oldest student organizations at Henderson and one of the oldest student newspapers in Arkansas. The staff is open to all students regardless of major, and any student may submit articles, letters or photographs for publication. Past staff members and contributors have included famous Reddies C. Vann Woodward and Amy Jean Green, Lee Ivory of USA Today, and radio's Bobby Bones.
