The Alumni Board is an advisory council that represents the Henderson alumni community. These volunteers advise the Alumni Services office and are charged with the responsibility of carrying out programs of the Alumni Association.
During a three-year term, service involves four meetings per year. The board is divided into committees that focus on alumni recognition through various awards, special activities, and awarding student scholarships.
The Alumni Board selects recipients to recognize as Distinguished Alumni. They also choose those we honor with the H Award.
The Alumni Board scholarship committee is responsible for selecting worthy students for both Alumni Scholarships as well as Legacy Scholarships.
If you are interested in serving on the Alumni Board, please complete the Alumni Board Interest Form. New members are considered each calendar year by the number of expiring terms.
Alumni Board meetings are open to all graduates of Henderson State University.
